 Welcome one and all to New York, and New York high school but they like to be called ‘The Yorkies’ so that is how we refer to them. A lot of people have walked through these double doors leading into the big structure, a lot of heartache lies within and achievements, a place where you can find out who you really are. The person you really want to be. Together these people have grown up and grown apart, some many students making their dreams become reality and others, falling so far there is no light for them to head towards anymore. Watch as the freshmen become seniors and the seniors become adults, while it all seems to be changing all the time during the year at Yorkies, at the end of the day it is still good old beautiful and amazing New York city and there is a lot more in store for these people than they even realize, high school is not the hardest thing they have to go through, even if they think it now, adulthood is a lot harder, and they will soon find out about it.
Get ready to watch people slip up, get dragged into the wrong corwd or be able to stay under the radar and get by just fine, it may all look pretty and expensive in New York but you are going to find out about the people that don’t have tons of money, that can’t buy their happiness and find out how they cope, how the rich will fall under the peer pressure, when they have to stand on their own two feet, you will see the good, bad and even ugly things that can happen in such a amazing city. Look at life before, during and after high school, be anyone you want to be. A graduate, adult, dropout, staff or student. Live your life fully as the person you wish to be. Though you might not want too, you have to keep going, keep trying keep chasing those New York lights.
